US Dataworks was selected from over 600 speaking proposals to present on the topic of Bitcoin and other virtual currencies at the annual AFP Conference. The conference will be held November 2-5, 2014 in Washington D.C. and is expected to have more the 7,000 treasury professionals in attendance. Leilani Doyle, VP Product Management and Marketing will be joined by Amy Hoke from Mercator Advisory Group and Jon Matonis, CEO of the Bitcoin Foundation for a lively discussion on the emergence of Bitcoin and other virtual currencies.
The AFP task force, comprised of senior level finance and treasury executives, carefully reviewed and deliberated over the proposed speaking topics and submissions. Decisions were made based on a variety of criteria, including: the timeliness of the topic, relevance to the profession, stated learning objectives, and the unbiased nature of the content.
With the volatility of the Bitcoin and emergence of other virtual currencies in the market, there will be a lot of information to cover and changes to keep up with. If you are inventing a new virtual currency or a service that leverages virtual currencies and would like to share information with the speakers, please email Leilani at firstname.lastname@example.org.
