Leilani Doyle, SVP Product Management was accepted to the Faster Payments Task Force and will be attending her first in-person meeting in Chicago next week. The Faster Payments Task Force was established by the Federal Reserve to further advance their work for improving the U.S payments system. In January 2015, the Federal Reserve published “Strategies for Improving the U.S. Payment System” to highlight their research and public input, complete with five desired outcomes. As part of the Task Force, Leilani will be helping to advance electronic solutions for business and personal payments, and to do so in a cost-effective manner. The Faster Payments initiative is the most comprehensive industry approach for modernizing the way US payments are handled by bringing together all stakeholders in order to further the initiative.
US Dataworks brought the power of real-time processing to large scale remittance operations, integrated receivables solutions and check clearing systems. Our experience in moving these batch oriented systems to a real-time platform will be useful to the Task Force. In addition, our goal is to make Faster Payments a simple option to implement for our bank clients and the businesses they serve.
