The Check Processing module of Clearingworks Payments provides streamlined processing of checks captured through Clearingworks or imported in a standard electronic file format. It can support images captured in centralized operations or distributed capture environments.

By processing and managing checks electronically, Clearingworks Payments eliminates much of the operational and overhead costs associated with traditional paper deposits, including courier and storage fees. This also streamlines MICR validation and repair.

What's more, Clearingworks Payments improves funds availability by clearing and settling checks across banking relationships using Check 21. The solution also has the ability to clear items via a financial institution's own in-network endpoints, further reducing float and costs.
